IHG Members Can Earn 2k, 3k or 8k Points For Every 2 or 4 nights Stayed

- Targeted IHG One Rewards members can earn 2,000, 3,000, or 8,000 bonus points for every 2 or 4 nights stayed during the promotion period.
- Members must pre-register between June 12-19, 2024, and the promotion runs from June 20 to August 31, 2024.
A similar offer were valid until the end of March 28th, 2024.
IHG has sent out emails to selected One Rewards members inviting them to sign up for offers to earn additional bonus points for paid stays. So far, we’ve seen three different targeted offers:

Promotions Overview
Registration Period: 12 June, 2024 through 19 June, 2024, for pre-registration; active throughout the Promotion Period beginning 20 June, 2024 and ending on 31 August, 2024.
Targeted Promotion: 2,000 Points Every 2 Nights
- Point Accumulation: Members earn 2,000 bonus points for every two qualifying room nights.
Targeted Promotion: 3,000 Points Every 2 Nights
- Point Accumulation: Members earn 3,000 bonus points for every two qualifying room nights.
Targeted Promotion: 8,000 Points Every 4 Nights
- Point Accumulation: Members earn 8,000 bonus points for every four qualifying room nights.
Registration and Eligibility
- Membership Requirement: Active IHG One Rewards membership is mandatory for both promotions.
- One-Time Registration: Members can register once for either promotion during the specified periods.
Earning and Using Points
- Earning Points: Points are earned based on the number of qualifying room nights during the respective Promotion Period.
- Usage of Points: Points can be redeemed for Reward Nights, merchandise, or other options within the IHG One Rewards program.
- Point Allocation: Allow up to 6 weeks for the bonus points to be posted to the member’s account.
Qualifying Stays and Limitations
- Eligibility Criteria: A minimum of one night’s stay at a participating hotel, with spending exceeding US $30 per night.
- Exclusions: Stays booked through Rewards Nights, Points & Cash, and online travel agencies are not eligible.
- Room Booking Policy: Points are credited for only one room per night, regardless of multiple bookings.
Program Restrictions
- Non-Elite Qualifying Points: Points from both promotions do not contribute towards Elite status.
- Brand Specific Terms: Brands like Six Senses and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts have unique point-earning and redemption rules.
Conclusion
IHG’s “2,000 Points for 2 Nights promotion” offers members the opportunity to accumulate points quickly, and for select members there is a targeted offer with the opportunity to earn a total of 8,000 points for 4 nights.
Offers are valid for paid stays only, reservations using points, free night certificates or points and cash are not eligible.
