InterContinental Ambassador’s headline perk is a “guaranteed” room upgrade, but that word carries a long asterisk. A Quick Example
Say you book a standard room at an InterContinental resort. The next room up is a Junior Suite — that’s a covered category, so Ambassador’s one-level guarantee applies and you should get it (availability permitting).
