Value check: how much are 1,000 or 3,000 points?
Conservative valuations put Hilton points around 0.4–0.5¢ each, so 1,000 points ≈ $4–$5 at a standard Hilton brand, and 3,000 points ≈ $12–$15 at a qualifying luxury, lifestyle, resort, or all-inclusive property. That’s modest at the standard tier—fine for one-night stopovers—but the luxury/resort tier is the one worth planning around this round.
Example 1 (1-night $120 at Hampton by Hilton — standard tier):

- Elite bonus: Silver +20% = +240 (Gold +80% = +960; Diamond +100% = +1,200).

How it compares
Hilton has run a version of this promo nearly every quarter: 1,500 points per stay in fall 2025, bumped mid-run to 2,500, then 2,000 points per stay for Q1 2026. This iteration is the first to split the bonus by hotel type instead of paying a flat rate — 3,000 points at the luxury/resort tier is the richest per-stay number Hilton has offered in this series, while the 1,000-point standard tier is actually lower than the last few quarters.
Bottom line
A register-and-forget deal, but the value now depends on where you stay: the 3,000-point luxury/resort tier is worth planning around if you already have a Waldorf Astoria, LXR, Conrad, Curio, or resort stay coming up between October 15 and December 31, 2026. The 1,000-point standard tier is a modest kicker at Hampton, Hilton Garden Inn, and similar brands—fine to register for since it costs nothing, but not worth chasing on its own.
