If you’re into getting miles just for eating out, check out Alaska’s Atmos Dining Rewards. It’s a new program where you link your card and earn Atmos points every time you pay at certain restaurants. This is on top of whatever rewards you already get from your credit card. Here’s a quick look at how the Atmos Dining Program works, the bonuses for new members and making reservations, how many points you get for each dollar you spend, and the smartest ways to rack up those points.
What is Atmos Dining Rewards?
Atmos Dining Rewards is a dining program that works with Rewards Network. Basically, you sign up your credit or debit card, and then you automatically get extra Atmos points when you eat at restaurants, bars, or cafes in the program and pay with that card. It’s an easy way to get more points on top of your usual credit card rewards. The new Atmos Rewards site from Alaska Airlines also shows dining as a way to earn points daily.

Sign-Up Bonuses & Ongoing Earnings
New Member Bonus

You will get 500 Atmos bonus points if you register, spend $30 at one of the participating establishments within 30 days, and fill out a short online questionnaire after visiting the restaurant.
You must opt in to promotional emails to qualify. This is a one-time welcome offer.
Reservation Bonus

You will also earn 50 bonus points per reservation when you book a table through the Atmos Dining portal.
Capped at 1 reservation per day and up to 8 per calendar month (max 400 points/month). Availability varies by restaurant/market.
Base Earning on Dining Spend

You can earn up to 5 Atmos points for every dollar you spend at restaurants in the program (that’s before tax and tip). Atmos says you become a VIP after eating out 11 times in a year. After that, you’ll get 5x points per dollar until the year ends.
For example: If you’re a VIP and spend $60 (before tax and tip) at a place on the program, you’ll get 300 Atmos points. And you’ll still get whatever points your credit card normally gives you, too.
Stacking With Credit Cards
Atmos Dining Rewards stacks with your credit-card points. If you use an Alaska co-brand, you’ll earn from the dining program and from your card’s category bonus:
- Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite (Bank of America): 3 points per $1 on eligible dining (and foreign purchases, Alaska & Hawaiian spend), no FTF. That 3x sits on top of your Atmos Dining earnings.
- Other cards (including non-Alaska cards) also stack — just make sure the exact card number is linked in Atmos Dining before you pay.
Program Rules & Fine Print to Know

One network at a time: Rewards Network powers many airline/hotel dining portals. The same card cannot be active in two RN programs at once. If you’re switching from another dining portal, unlink your card there first, then link it to Atmos.
Posting timeline: Points generally post after the restaurant settles the transaction and you submit any required review; allow up to a few weeks in some cases (varies by merchant processing).
Eligible spend: Dining points usually apply to the subtotal (pre-tax/tip).
Coverage varies: Not every city is equally dense with partners; check the map before planning a “status sprint.”
Atmos Dining VIP: Why 11 Dines Matter
Hitting 11 qualifying dines in a calendar year may upgrade you to VIP, boosting your earn to 5x/$1 through year-end. If you dine out often, consider focusing your paid meals at participating spots to lock the higher rate earlier in the year.
Example: A Month of Smart Stacking
- Four dinners at $50 each (excluding taxes and gratuities) at participating restaurants = $200.
- As a VIP (5x), earn 1,000 Atmos points from dining.
- Book 4 reservations via the portal: +200 bonus points (50 each; within the 8/month cap).
- Pay with Summit Visa Infinite (3x dining) for +600 card points.
Total: 1,800 points for the month — before any new-member bonus — and you didn’t change how you eat.
Bottom Line
If you’re already using Atmos, you should check out Atmos Dining Rewards. It’s easy to sign up, and they give you 500 points just for joining. You also get 50 points for each reservation you make. You can earn up to 5 points for every dollar you spend, and after dining 11 times, you can become a VIP. Connect a good rewards card, like the Summit Visa Infinite (which gives you 3 points for every dollar), and you can turn regular meals into serious progress toward your next trip. Just check the restaurant map on the site to find places in your city, and grab dinner this week to get that welcome bonus.
