Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have rolled out Atmos for Business, a self-managed booking and rewards platform aimed squarely at small and mid-sized companies. If your organization spends $5,000+ per year on flights, you can join, assign travelers, and start earning company rewards on top of what employees already earn personally. Think of it as a clean replacement for Alaska’s old EasyBiz—now expanded to the combined Alaska–Hawaiian ecosystem

Whole Point in One Sentence

Your company earns 1 Atmos Rewards point per $1 of flown tickets, while your travelers keep earning their own Atmos Rewards as usual—and get a 10% status-point bonus when trips are booked through the Atmos for Business portal. That’s a simple, stackable “double-dip” that few SMB programs make this easy.

Who Can Enroll

The program is open to U.S. companies and organizations that can reasonably expect $5,000 in annual air spend. Enrollment generates a company Atmos Rewards number you’ll use when booking for employees.

How Earning Works (Company + Traveler)

When a traveler tied to your account flies Alaska or Hawaiian, the company earns 1 point per dollar on the fare paid. Points accrue into a company pool you can redeem for future trips across Alaska, Hawaiian, and 30+ global airline partners. Meanwhile, the employee still earns their own Atmos Rewards—and when the booking is made inside the Atmos for Business tool, the traveler also picks up a 10% bonus on status-qualifying points.

The Platform Perks That Matter

Alaska rebuilt the interface to feel like alaskaair.com, but added tools that corporate admins actually need: bulk invites, team-based traveler groups, multiple stored payment methods, a consolidated reporting view, and a corporate wallet that captures unused ticket funds from cancellations so you can easily apply them to any traveler later. There’s also dedicated support for Atmos for Business accounts. For intra-Hawaiʻi itineraries, travelers receive two free checked bags and free same-route standby to move earlier the same day—useful if your team shuttles between Islands.

A New Business Credit Card Alongside the Program

To complement a company account, Alaska introduced the Atmos Rewards Visa Business card with perks your travelers will recognize immediately: an annual $99 Companion Fare (plus taxes/fees from $23) after qualifying purchases, a free checked bag, preferred boarding, and 3Х points on Alaska & Hawaiian purchases. Launch offers have been known to offer up to 80,000 points as a sign-up bonus. For SMBs that consolidate spend, this can meaningfully accelerate both company and employee travel goals.

Here are the key Atmos Rewards Visa Business card benefits:

  • Big welcome offer: Limited-time 80,000 Atmos Rewards points after qualifying spend + a $99 Companion Fare (plus taxes & fees from $23).
  • Annual Companion Fare: Earn an annual $99 Companion Fare each cardmember year with $6,000+ in purchases (terms apply).
  • Free checked bag: First checked bag free on Alaska & Hawaiian flights for the cardholder (and up to 6 companions on the same reservation when requirements are met).
  • Preferred boarding (Alaska): Enjoy preferred boarding for you and up to 6 companions on Alaska flights when tickets are purchased with the card.
  • Earn more on airline spend: 3X points per $1 on eligible Alaska Airlines & Hawaiian Airlines purchases.
  • In-flight savings: 20% back on eligible in-flight purchases (food, premium drinks, Wi-Fi) on Alaska & Hawaiian.
  • Status boost via spend: 1 Atmos Rewards status point per $3 spent on the card (up to 30,000 status points in 2025; no cap starting 2026).
  • Business-friendly fee structure: Reported $70 annual fee for the company + $25 per card (minimum $95 total).

Where the Value Shows Up (and How To Maximize It)

Double-dip every eligible trip. Always book Alaska/Hawaiian business travel through Atmos for Business so that company points and a traveler’s 10% status-point bonus trigger together. That keeps your employees motivated (they’re closer to milestones and elite tiers) while finance builds a reusable company balance for future trips.

Treat the corporate wallet like found money. Unused funds from canceled tickets are centralized and reusable across any traveler. In practice, that means fewer orphaned credits and less breakage—often a hidden cost in SMB air programs.

Lean into Hawaiʻi flying perks if relevant. If your teams travel inter-island, two (2) free bags and free same-route standby remove pain points and cut expense reports. That’s unusual generosity for SMB programs and worth factoring into carrier choice.

Leverage the new card for air + ancillary spend. Use the earn rate on Alaska/Hawaiian tickets (and the companion fare) to reduce net trip costs; apply the company points you earn from flights to offset future travel on partner airlines through Atmos Rewards’ broader network.

What about EasyBiz?

Atmos for Business replaces EasyBiz with a broader Alaska–Hawaiian footprint and a more modern toolset. If you used EasyBiz, the migration is the path forward.

Bottom line

For small and mid-sized companies, Atmos for Business is a rare combination of easy admin and real-world traveler incentives. You’ll earn a steady 1 point per $ in a reusable company bank, employees keep racking up their own Atmos Rewards, and bookings through the portal quietly boost their status progress by 10%—all while a corporate wallet stops ticket value from leaking away. Layer in the new Atmos Rewards Business card (companion fare + 3Х on tickets) and intra-Hawaiʻi baggage/standby perks, and you’ve got a surprisingly robust SMB package with minimal learning curve.
