Ready to travel this summer? It’s time to jet-set with Frontier Airlines with the latest GoWild! All-You-Can-Travel Summer Pass! Similar to the airline’s annual pass, the summer pass is your ticket to unlimited travel during the busiest travel season. So, if your Frontier Miles aren’t enough to take you to all your favorite Frontier destinations, this pass has you covered.

The Frontier GoWild! All-You-Can-Travel Summer Pass allows pass holders to book unlimited flights on Frontier Airlines between May 2-Sept 30, 2023. So, if you’ve been looking for a way to keep your Frontier Miles safe, you’ve got a world of options where to travel.

Benefits of Getting the Frontier Summer Pass

Whether you’re a frequent Frontier traveler or have lots of travel plans, there are plenty of benefits to having the GoWild! Summer Pass. With the pass, travelers can look forward to booking unlimited flights all season, preserving their Frontier Miles, and elite members can enjoy their flight benefits the entire time.

Frontier is one of the leading airlines in the ultra-low-cost market, with routes to more than 100 domestic and 31 international destinations. Passholders can book unlimited flights on the airline to any of these destinations, including upcoming routes to Puerto Rico starting in May this year.

Flexible travelers able to take advantage of last-minute flights will get the most benefit from the pass. All domestic flights booked with the pass are confirmed one day before the departure date, and international flights within 10 days of departure.

Did you know that your Frontier Miles expire every six months? Getting lots of Frontier Miles to redeem for rewards on the airlines requires frequent travel. Flights booked with the summer pass count as a qualifying activity, so your miles don’t expire while using it.

In addition to preserving Frontier Miles, elite members will receive all their benefits during travel. With unlimited flights, there are an unlimited number of times to enjoy priority boarding, free checked bags, and seat assignments. It pays to be an elite member since these elite status benefits only apply to this group and supplement features lacking in the Frontier Summer Pass.

Downsides to Having the Frontier Summer Pass

The Frontier GoWild! Summer Pass is an excellent option for flexible travelers frequenting Frontier destinations. However, it’s important to consider that while the pass includes unlimited travel, it excludes many features that could ultimately cost you more than you save.

The biggest downside of using the Frontier GoWild! Summer Pass is forfeiting earning Frontier Miles on each flight. Although elite members can enjoy their benefits and keep miles from expiring, flights booked with the pass do not earn Frontier Miles in the process. Trips you already had planned for the summer on Frontier are better booked without the pass to keep you on track with earning Frontier Miles.

Even if not earning Frontier Miles doesn’t concern you, unlimited travel with the GoWild! All-You-Can-Travel Summer Pass is subject to availability. Bookings only get confirmed if seats are available on the flight the day before. As a result, popular routes that typically sell out can be hard to book with the pass. Also, the pass includes several blackout dates around busy summer holiday travel dates, including memorial day, the Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

Unlimited travel with the GoWild! Summer Pass is not entirely free. All flights booked with the pass cost $0.01 and include taxes and fees. If you’re not an elite status member using the GoWild! Summer Pass, there are additional costs to expect when booking trips since the pass does not include baggage fees and other add-ons.

Explore New Destinations with Frontier This Summer

The Frontier GoWild! All-You-Can-Travel pass is a timely release with Frontier Airlines readying to add a new Caribbean destination to its list. Starting in May, Frontier Airlines will begin eight routes between the US and Puerto Rico. Direct flights from the following airports will be available soon:

  • Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) to Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU)
  • Cancun International Airport (CUN) to SJU
  • Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) to SJU
  • Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to SJU
  • Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to SJU – 10k points
  • Midway International Airport (MDW) to SJU
  • Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Mercedita International Airport PSE
  • Tampa International Airport (TPA) to Rafael Hernandez International Airport BQN

Without the All-You-Can-Travel Pass, you can expect the use at least 10,000 Frontier Miles to book a one-way ticket between these routes.

How to get the GoWild! Summer Pass

Take advantage of a summer of travel by purchasing the All-You-Can-Travel Pass, available now. Only a limited number of passes are available and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The introductory price of the GoWild Pass is $399—a budget-friendly alternative to the annual pass, which regularly costs nearly $2,000! The special price is one-time only, and the pass will cost $999 the following year if you don’t cancel the subscription.

If the price fits your travel budget, here’s how you can purchase and start booking unlimited flights with the summer pass:

  1. Purchase the GoWild! Summer Pass here
  2. Visit FlyFrontier.com and log in to your Frontier Miles account
  3. Browse and book your flight (one day in advance for domestic trips and 10 days in advance for international trips)

Is the GoWild! All-You-Can-Travel Summer Pass Worth It?

The special offer price of $399 for the GoWild! Summer Pass is a great introductory deal! But is it worth it? Frontier has flights starting at $19 one-way. With flights this cheap, consider where you’d like to travel and how often you’ll use it. Those flexible to travel often with the card will get more value from it as opposed to the occasional traveler.

In addition to considering the cost you pay, also think about what you give up when using the card. For example, elite Status members will lose out on earning more Frontier Miles. Also, if you’re planning to travel around the summer holidays, the pass is effectively useless due to blackout dates.
