  • Admirals Club Members: Those who have purchased an Admirals Club membership.
  • First and Business Class Passengers: Access is granted to first and business class passengers traveling on international and select transcontinental flights.
  • American Airlines Credit Card Holders: Certain credit cards offer Admirals Club access.
  • Day Pass Holders: Travelers can purchase a day pass for access.
  • Elite Status Members: AAdvantage Executive Platinum, Platinum Pro, and Platinum members flying on international flights.

To become an Admirals Club member, you must be a member of the AAdvantage program.

Annual membership to the Admirals Club

The annual subscription to all Admirals Club locations can be purchased any number of times. The American Airlines Admirals Clubs’ yearly subscription is available at any destination or outlet open to the Admirals Club and online

  • For a new member, it costs $850 per year, while for renewal, members have to pay $800 per year; this is for the non-elite AAdvantage member. 
  • AAdvantage Gold members pay $825 for new membership and $775 when renewing; AAdvantage Platinum members are charged $800 for new membership and $750 when renewing;
  • AAdvantage Platinum Pro members pay an amount of $775 for new membership and $725 when renewing; 
  • members at the AAdvantage Executive Platinum level pay $750 for new and $700 when renewing. 

There’s also household membership, for a fee ranging from $1,550 to $1,650 depending on the status level. This offers you and your spouse or domestic partner access to lounges worldwide, whether you travel together or not.

Membership benefits include access to nearly 50 Admirals Club locations and more than 60 partner lounges worldwide. Spouses and children, as well as up to two guests, are the other option.

Membership purchases can also be made with accumulated AAdvantage miles.

Admirals Club Access Day Pass

The American Airlines Admirals Club Access Day Pass is perfect for those who travel on a not-so-regular basis or are traveling today but are not ready to commit to an annual membership.
