Details of the Offer
As part of the promotion, you will receive 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points after linking your accounts and making one qualifying Premium ride in the United States by November 24, 2025. You will also be automatically entered into a drawing for 1,000,000 points (3 winners).
Eligible participants are U.S. residents with a valid Uber account who have not linked Uber↔Marriott as of November 10, 2025 and who are 18 years of age or older.
Crediting of bonus points may take ~6 weeks after participation is confirmed.

What Counts as a “Premium Ride” for This Promotion?
Uber Black, Uber XL, Uber SUV, and Uber Comfort rides in the US (according to the official rules). Please note that Uber Premier is not included in the terms and conditions.
Two Sweepstakes Ways to Enter (Choose One)
The drawing will take place on or around December 4, 2025, among all eligible participants. If you win, you will be notified by email/phone. Winners must complete the necessary paperwork within 5 business days; otherwise, the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected.
There are two methods to participate in the drawing. You already know about the first one, but almost no one talks about the second one, even though it exists (details are provided on the official terms and conditions page on the Uber website).
Method #1 – Ride Entry (with 1,000 points)
- Link accounts first: In the Uber app, link your Uber and Marriott Bonvoy accounts (you’ll need to accept the program terms).
- Set your Earning Partner: In the Uber app, select Marriott Bonvoy as your active rewards/earning partner.
- Take one Premium ride (U.S.) during the window: Complete Uber Black, Uber XL, Uber SUV, or Uber Comfort between Nov 10, 9:00 a.m. ET and Nov 24, 11:59 p.m. ET.
- Get 1,000 points + 1 entry: Upon successful trip completion, you receive one (1) sweepstakes entry and 1,000 Bonvoy bonus points (posting may take up to 6 weeks; subject to validation).
- Entry limit: Taking multiple rides does not earn additional entries; it’s one entry per person.
A trip only counts if it’s successfully completed (canceled trips are ineligible) and occurs within the 50 U.S. states or DC.
Method #2 — Free Mail-In Entry (no ride, no points)
There is another way to participate in the drawing without combining accounts and Premium Ride. Here’s what you need to do: mail a handwritten 3”×5” card with your name, email (required), last three digits of your Marriott Bonvoy number (required), and daytime phone, in a #10 envelope to:

Conclusions
That 1,000-point bonus you get just for joining? It’s not huge, but it’s easy money if you were planning a ride anyway. The real prize is the sweepstakes, where three lucky people win a million points! If you can, bumping up your ride to Comfort or XL might only cost a few bucks more. That way, you get that guaranteed bonus and a shot at the big sweepstakes prize. If you don’t plan to ride, the mail-in route gets you in the drawing for free. Sounds like a sweet deal!
