With Venture X, eligible purchases are protected for the first 90 days from the date of purchase.

Buyer Protection focuses on unforeseen events. It is designed for situations where an item is accidentally damaged or stolen before you have had a chance to use it.

What Is Not Covered?

Purchase protection does not cover everything.

Certain categories of property are specifically excluded. Motor vehicles, boats, aircraft, software, medical equipment, perishables, animals, plants, collectibles, and items purchased for resale are generally not covered. Normal wear and tear is also excluded, as are losses resulting from fraud, war, government confiscation, inherent product defects, or mysterious disappearance without evidence of theft.

Lost or misplaced items are also not covered. The policy applies only to accidental damage and theft.

There are also limitations involving baggage and common carriers. For example, items lost while under the care of an airline or shipping company may fall outside the scope of purchase protection and instead be addressed through other benefits such as baggage insurance.

How Does a Claim Work?
