Frontier has launched a new “Fly One, Get One” promotion that lets eligible Frontier Miles members earn 5,000 extra miles for each round-trip, up to 20,000 bonus miles total. To qualify, you need to register by May 31, 2026, book directly with Frontier on or after May 6, 2026, and complete travel by August 31, 2026.

Registration must be completed at least 24 hours before departure.

That headline is strong enough to matter, especially because one qualifying round-trip in this promo can generate enough bonus miles for what is effectively a future one-way domestic award, before even counting the regular miles you earn from the ticket itself.

How the Promo Works

The official Frontier promo page lays out the process in four steps: join Frontier Miles if needed, register by May 31, book on or after May 6, and fly by August 31. After each qualifying round-trip is completed, Frontier says it will award 5,000 bonus miles, with a maximum of 20,000 bonus miles during the promotion. Frontier also says each 5,000-mile increment should post within three business days after the qualifying round-trip is completed.

There are also several important restrictions. Frontier says the promo applies only to eligible Frontier-operated round-trips booked directly on FlyFrontier.com or in the Frontier mobile app. It excludes GoWild fares, award tickets, group bookings, charter flights, specially negotiated fares, and free tickets. Frontier also says that if a booking is changed, canceled, or simply not flown, the bonus miles will not be awarded.

Another important detail: these are Travel Miles, not Elite Status Points. Travel Miles can be redeemed for flights, but they do not count toward elite qualification. So this is useful for future award travel, not for chasing status.

The Real Best-Case Use

The strongest use case is simple: book one or more paid Frontier round-trips you already need, earn the extra 5,000-mile bonuses, and then use those miles for future low-cost domestic awards. Members earn 10x Travel Miles and 10x Elite Status Points per qualifying dollar spent on FlyFrontier.com even before elite multipliers, so this promotion can stack with the airline’s usual earnings on paid Frontier purchases.

That is what makes this offer more appealing than it first looks. You are not only getting the bonus miles. You are also still earning Frontier’s standard miles on the underlying ticket purchase. For travelers who fly Frontier occasionally but not enough to stockpile miles quickly, this is a relatively painless way to jump-start an account balance.

Bottom Line

Frontier’s new “Fly One, Get One” promotion is a solid, practical offer. Register by May 31, 2026, book eligible round-trips directly with Frontier, and complete travel by August 31, 2026 to earn 5,000 extra miles per round-trip, up to 20,000 miles total. Since one-way domestic awards can start at 5,000 miles, that makes this one of those rare airline promos where the reward is easy to understand in real-world travel terms.

This is not a reason to book bad trips just for a promo. But if you already have Frontier travel planned this summer, it is absolutely worth registering. The structure is straightforward, the reward is meaningful, and the miles post quickly enough to make the offer feel useful rather than theoretical.
